I’ve been going through old files and reworking some shots. One cool thing about digital photography is the ease in which we can “revise” an image. Sure, it could be done in the darkroom as well, but not quite as easily or quickly, and it is certainly cheaper to work an image in many different ways digitally. No paper or chemical expenses. To me, digital imagery is such a huge leap and change in the way images are created–one in which we have not even fathomed just yet because we are still in the beginnings of it.
Anyway, I tried a different conversion with this image. More contrasty, with sharp edges and angles. I liked this image before the revision, but I like it better now.
